Department of endodontics deals with management of problems associated with deep/large cavities of the tooth and broken tooth, where the pulp tissue within the tooth has been affected, causing pain to the patient. Such tooth could be treated endodontically (RCT-Root Cancel Treatment) and restored to its normal structure and function.
Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery
Mainly deals with, trauma of the facial bone’s surgical oncology of the oral cavity, infection of oral cavity, surgical removal of impacted teeth, orthognathic surgery for the correction of the protruded teeth, gummy smile of maxillae and mandible under GA
Orthodontics
This department deals with correction of irregular and proclaimed teeth by Begg’s mechanotherapy and straighwire mechanics.
For the children below 12 years correction of skeletal problem through various functional appliances are also dealt with
Periodontics
Department of Periodontics deals with management of problems of gums and other supporting structures of the tooth, surgical and non surgical management of Periodontics infections, surgical management of gingival enlargement by gingivectomy and recession by soft tissue grafting, treatment for Dentinal Hypersenitivity, bone grafting procedure and (Guided Tissue Regeneraction for required defects and esthetic plastic gum surgeries for gums of upper and lower anterior tooth for smile correction.
Prosthodontics
The scope of prosthodontic dentistry includes fixed partial dentures for replacement of missing teeth (Ceramo-mettal restorations and mixed -Chromium restorations). Replacement of edentulous area with cast partial dentures maxillo-facial prosthodontics for rehabilitation of cancer patients, congenital defects and defects due to trauma. |
