Brachial plexus surgery to repair the major nerves to hand was performed on a I year old baby, last week at Sushrutha Institute of plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (SIPRAS) ,Elite Mission Hospital, Thrissur. The child sustained injury to her brachial plexus during delivery ( Obstetric brachial palsy ). Till date 25 brachial plexus surgeries have been done at Sushrutha Institute by the plastic surgery team consisting of Dr. Aniljith.V.G, Dr. Anto Francis, Dr. K.
