 Trauma patients may be brought into the center through private vehicle,ambulance, rescue or through physician referrals. Many come into the Emergency Department as their first stop. If the patient is a "trauma alert" and very critical, he or she will be brought into the trauma resuscitation bay. It is our goal to keep patients in this area the shortest amount of time and to place them in the appropriate medical unit once they have been stabilized |

| Our success rate of assisting our critically injured patients and their families to return to a productive and functional quality of life is our continual mission. We work closely with our rehabilitation specialists and monitor our patient's outcomes through quality of life reviews. These reviews have been designed to assess many facets of our care. The reviews also contain an element to assess the patient's ongoing needs. |
